BRUCETRA is an Innoviris funded collaborative research project conducted by KU Leuven and the ULB. The general aim of this project is to analyze the economic and environmental potential of the waste streams for a transition towards a circular economy model of materials’ management in the Brussels Capital Region.


The scientific team consists of researchers from the ULB and KU Leuven. Bruxelles Environnement/ Leefmilieu Brussel and  Bruxelles-Propreté /Net Brussel safeguard the link  between the research output and the impact on the Brussels Capital Region.


BRUCETRA is funded by Innoviris and falls within its Anticipate program, which finances academic research projects with a future-oriented vision that are regarded as important for the Brussels Capital Region.
